My dear classmates, schoolmates and friends!
Mayad-ayad nga gabii kinyo tanan! Welcome to the third year anniversary of our Alumni Association.
The Bible says, “knock and you shall be open, seek and you shall find, ask and you shall receive, Today, marks the third year of anniversary of our association. Indeed, God is so Good! Our assembly, our celebration and merry making now is indeed the answer to all our prayers. This is made possible because of your overwhelming support and presence every year.
It was 2004 when everyone dreamt for an assembly. It was on the same year that we, hand in hand enjoyed that victory. The dream came into reality. For the past 3 years we stood together. Our humble accomplishments are manifestations of all our collective efforts to make all things possible. Without your presence, generous support, I and the whole officers of this association would not function as you expected us to be. And that we, your trusted and humble servants would like to give back all your generosity now – Thank you very much. Your contributions whether in cash or in kind are great help.
Allow me then therefore, to take this opportunity to personally express my sincerest gratitude and thanksgiving, together with my wife, Dr. Leodith, and my whole family. From the bottom of my heart thank you so much for believing in my capacity to lead this association. Rest assured that we will always be here to support this association in the best of our capacity. And as I relinquish my position to the next president, I do pray and expect from you the same unity, the same support and the same cooperation be given to him/her and to the whole incoming officers. Let us all remember this simple story about the broom. Pareho sa kogong indi ra makalimpyo it mayad kung sambato manlang, kon imo ibahon o imponon ro mga kugong ngara hay maging silhig, hay madali ag madasig eon makaobra ag makalimpiyo dahil gin tibyog imaw, makaron gid-a konta kita nga naga tibyog. Ro kalipayan it kada isaea katon makaron ay mas malipayon pagid-a kon kada isaea hay magbinuligan ag sinsiro. Agud ipakita naton sa mga aton inunga ag sa sunod pang hinirasyon.
Everyone of us has its own story to tell. Stories that molded us who we are right now. And we give credit to our dear alma mater, the Ibajay Central School. Our success and victory and our continues search for triumph begins at the very door of this school once in our life we set our foot on this ground. Whatever our stories, we learned something from them and that molded us to become better individuals, fruitful and productive members of our community and our families.
Let my story be your story……. Let your story be the story of your sons and daughters………….. let the story of this association be the story of the next generation that once in our life we been part of this school and organization…………. the story of the success and glory of each of us. God bless us all!!!!
